Libera Lifeline

The LIBERA lifeline is an anchor device that uses a flexible anchor line conforming to the technical standard EN 795:2012 Type C and can be used by 2 operators at the same time, in accordance with technical specification CEN/TS 16415:2013 and by 3 operators in accordance with UNI 11578:2015 (on a rigid structure).

The elements that make up the line are manufactured using a special die-cast aluminium alloy that combines lightness, mechanical and corrosion resistance, and are fixed to the supports using stainless steel hardware.

The absorber assists the tensioner during assembly to allow for proper cable tensioning.

The line is designed for mounting on special aluminium and cataphoretically painted steel supports.

No shuttles are required to use this anchor device: the operator simply hooks the lanyard connector or retractable device onto the line cable: thanks to its shape, the intermediate element can be passed over without the worker having to disengage from the line.

It is used as the starting and finishing point of the lifeline; it is fixed to the end supports, to special supports according to drawing and to the PA and PAM plates for wall applications.

Intermediate element

It is installed at straight intervals of no more than 15 m and allows the connector to pass through in a sinusoidal movement. It can be mounted on standard intermediate supports as well as on the PIA and PAM plates.

Small arch for corner transmission

Headband that prevents the cable from accidentally slipping out when changing direction. The bow is positioned in the rotating body of the AP15 element by means of a specially turned stainless steel screw.

Absorber/Turnbuckle

The absorber reduces the kinetic energy transmitted to the media. The energy is dissipated by the ball passing through the EPDM cylinder inside the protective casing. The absorber assists the tensioner during assembly for correct cable tensioning. The M16x200 threaded rod also acts as a turnbuckle once inserted into the AP15.

Hut shape base

It is used as support for all line components. It is composed by a glass-hut shaped
base for roofs with 30% slope. An aluminum extension is put inside the base and it is

Flat based support

It is used as standard support for all line components. It is composed by a

The patented system guarantees the waterproofing of the fixing and reduces
