Head protection helmets are required in almost any work environment subject to the danger of falling objects or the risk of the operator falling from above.
Properly worn, a helmet provides two main types of protection: :
Rigid shell: resists the penetration of sharp objects and its suspension system reduces the consequences of a localized blow to the head, distributing the force over a larger area;
Chinstrap: designed to reduce the risk of losing the helmet in the event of an impact during a fall and must be equipped with an automatic safety release device.
